How much your service cost?

Software Defender is a subscription service, which means you pay each month to use its features. Each month you will be billed $19.97. The price doesn't depend on number of products you have or number of licenses generated. That is, $19.97/monthly flat-rate. And there are no other hidden costs, like a set-up fee or cancellation fee.

Is it reliable? Do you make backups?

We are taking every steps possible to ensure 100%-reliability. All the data is mirrored on the independent server at another location, so even in unlikely case of main server being down, you and your customers will be able to access Software Defender. And of course all the data is backed up on a regular basis.

What will happen if I cancel my account?

You can cancel your account at any time and won't lose money since you're billed monthly. However cancelling your account means that your customers won't be able to use your products, since “wrapped” products will check themselves every time they are used. Still, even if you cancel your account, we will keep your products' and license data just in case you decide to return at a future date.

Our customers satisfaction is our top priority, along with developing new and exciting features. Backed up by insanely low-priced subscription, it blends into perfect service.

We recommend trying demo account first to see how Software Defender looks and works. This account requires no registration and has all features paid accounts have. The only limitation is that we reset data on demo account once per day to “factory settings”.

How long it will take for me to start using Software Defender?

The whole systtem is designed to be really simple to use yet powerful to cover everyone's needs. We have 5 video tutorials which explain main features of Software Defender, including integration with payment gateways (such as PayDotCom or ClickBank). They are really descriptive yet short enough (1-2 minutes long), so it won't take more than 10 minutes to understand how it works. Yes, you can integrate Software Defender with almost any auto-responder service such as Aweber or GetResponse. This tutorial shows you how to integrate it with Aweber in 10 simple steps.

What is the best way to protect my product?

General rule is to protect the most important file(s) for your product: not installer itself, but actual EXE that your customers is going to use. Software Defender is smart enough to detect your actions and warn about potential security issues later, but it's recommended to read this short “Developer's checklist”. It shows most common mistakes and how you can avoid them plus few simple guidelines to follow.

How can I put Software Defender in my existing ordering process?

Integrating Software Defender into your ordering process is really easy. You just need to update one or two links, depending if you want to use custom "thank-you" page or not. It will work with virtually any payment processor (PayDotCom, ClickBank, 2Checkout, etc). Tutorial on integration is available from our Wiki.

How can I pay?

We use PayPal as our payment processor which means you can use just about any credit card on the market. All subscriptions are handled through PayPal as well and details about your subscription are available in your PayPal Control Panel.

Do you provide phone support?

We offer email support to everyone, no matter if you're paid customer or not. Generally you should get a reply during the next 24 hours, but usually it takes less than few hours to respond. Our support is limited to email only to keep the service at such a low price. In the future, we may consider phone support for an additional fee. Every email is read and replied to in the quickest fashion possible.
